What Are They?

Pocket air filters are medium to high-efficiency filters used in HVAC systems to clean the air by trapping airborne particles like dust, pollen, mold spores, and fine particles.

They are designed with multiple extended pockets that increase surface area, ensuring better dust holding capacity and airflow.

Filtration Grades (According to EN 779 / ISO 16890)

F6 Filter

• Efficiency: 60–80% (for particles 1–10 microns)
• Typical Color: Green
• Use: Pre-filter for F7–F9 systems, offices, public spaces etc.

F7 Filter

• Efficiency: 80–90%
• Typical Color: Pink
• Use: Hospitals, commercial buildings, paint booths, AHUs etc.

F9 Filter

• Efficiency: 90–95%
• Typical Color: Yellow
• Use: Cleanrooms, pharmaceutical, food processing, lab etc.
